Series JSSP Pumps are directly driven by an air filled electric motor cooled by surrounding sewage. The impeller is directly mounted onto the extended shaft of the motor and there is no coupling in between. Double mechanical seals are provided for effective sealing of the motor from the sewage. If the party demands for motor protection, sensors are provided in windings which trip the circuit on reaching a preset temperature. The pumps are also provided with sensing device to signal against ingress of water into the oil chamber.
